RoamingDZ.com presents the 6th Annual St.Patricks Day Celebration Boogie:Fitzgerald,Ga:March 19th-22nd

I remember paying somewhere in the ballpark of $150 for a tent.. but I dont remember how big it was. Big enough for about 10 people to pack in. Sorry I can't be more specific, but if you can afford $150, you can afford whatever the actual cost is. Get $15 from everyone who packs in it and its a good deal.

And just a note in general.. if you can't bring your own shade, at least bring your own damn chair. :)

And the money spending begins.

Right there with ya. Re-pack, Inspect, USPA Renewal, Re-Re-Re-....RE-Currency training. Plus I need some alterations on the ***BRAND NEW KILT*** which just arrived yesterday. BOOYAHHH!!!
(Which reminds me, my previous kilt is still up for sale. For some reason, I haven't had any inquiries. :S[:/])

Oh, and of course there's tickets and beer for THE POGUES concert tomorrow night.
The greatest Irish band of all time comes to town 2 weeks before the St. Patty's boogie.....

I figure the Otter will hold about 4500 pounds of beer. I will just load it up and bring the beer from TEXAS. They do sell beer in Texas!
I'm just sayin'

HMMMM Bringing a planeload of beer from The great state of Texas to Georgia..... Sounds like we have a Smokey and the bandit sequel! Make sure you grow a sweet Burt Reynolds Mustache for the trip.

true event...
the dz's Cessna 180 had to go to someplace near denver
for either an engine rebuild or a new propeller, or something...1975, maybe 1976...

and the college kid, (with already a commercial ticket to his credit ) who flew the plane the most...
agreed to take a commercial flight out there,, to retrieve the jumpship when it was ready...:D
All went well and on schedule and when he arrived @ the Dz on a friday evening, there was a happy crowd, on hand to meet him,,,,

Not because we liked him,,,,:| though we DID:);). which it was....
and not because there was still a couple of hours of daylight, and so, we could get Up a couple of loads.....which we could...

BUT because when he popped open the jump door...
The entire cabin of the aircraft was LOADED with 24 count, Cases Of Coors Beer!!!!..
at a times when Coors Beer was Never seen east of the Mississippi,, and back when a 10 dollar bill, went a loooong way...
He had figured out the weight and balance and stacked 25 or 30 cases into that bird....
for the flight home..

he arrived a hero!!! and became a legend...
also made a few dollars, as i recall.....:DB|;)
He MAY still have a six pack or two,, kicking around from THAT adventure...:PB|
We were lucky enough cross paths again , and share a couple of skydives this past autumn, after a long time of living in different areas...':(
He still Flies, still jumps, and completed his college years, by becoming an attorney.....
;).....way to Go, Kachalsky
Cheers...

It's time I bought a flight, but I've hit a problem... I can't get ahold of PorpoiseHead. Anyone have his number and able to give him a call??? If so, just tell him to check his PM's. I need to know when to schedule my flights to and from N'awlins.

There's a beer or two in it for whoever can help me out.:|

He has been MIA for a while. Hopefully he is well and just having too much fun to bother with us here online. :S:|:)

He probably just got a computer virus from watching some free porno videos.:P

I still haven't heard from PorpoiseHead. He probably realized that 15 minutes around me is borderline torture, let alone several hours.:D

So, that being said, anyone wanna be my backup plan in case he decided to run away screaming?:D
