Anything at Raeford for Veteran's Day?

I get a long weekend for Veteran's Day, and I'm planning on coming up. Is there anything special going on at Raeford that weekend? If not, is there anything special that would draw jumpers *away* from Raeford that weekend?

Also, what about the regulars? Anyone nifty I should try to meet while I'm there?

The Black and Gold competition hosted by the Golden Knights will be going on down the road at Laurinburg. Since that means free jumps and free coaching for active duty military folks, things at Raeford will be a little slow. There are a lot of former CSS folks jumping at Raeford now (at least until they get their new DZ plans put in place), so it shouldn't be completely dead.

Be sure and check out the Black and Gold thread or the GKs website. There are specific requirements that you must meet in order to jump. Things like having TDY orders and a few other things. See you there!
