AntonKC 0 #1 October 28, 2008 I recently moved to Milan. Can anyone reccomend a DZ close enough to Milan to reach by train? And are there any particular pitfalls joining a club in Italy. I have BPA membership only. Thanks.I may be drunk Miss, but in the morning I will be sober - whereas you will still be ugly
Wenger 0 #2 October 28, 2008 Verona and it is a great place to jump with lots of fun skydivers. Due east of Milan and I sure you can get there by train
Elisha 1 #3 October 29, 2008 There is also one in Locarno, Switzerland, which wouldn't be too far away (in the southern canton of Ticino).
BMFin 0 #4 October 29, 2008 Last time I was in Italy I heard a rumour that one of the planes in skydive tortuga is flying cargo from milan during the week and they give you a free ride to tortuga as they fly the plane to the DZ for the weekend. Disclaimer!! (this is just what I faintly remember someone saying.. anyway might be worht checking out)
Mikeb 0 #5 October 29, 2008 Check out Area Delta 47 at Casale Monferrato, a USPA DZ about 1-1/2 hour west of Milan. Very friendy DZ when I was there in 2006. 011-39-0142-781993 www.accademiadiparacadutismo.itQuote
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
