SimonBones 1 #1 October 21, 2008 Looks pretty official. I'm going to be moving to the Houston area before the end of next month. Going to need a new home DZ... Look forward to meeting my new family!!! Seriously, get in touch with me and put me on some local area DZ email lists so I can get in the loop.108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
Rookie120 0 #2 October 22, 2008 I would suggest Spaceland down in Rosharon. Great lift and good people. There is a bunch of DZ's around the Houston area. Do a search and find all of them and go see for yourself. Good people all over down there. Have fun!If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! pairashooter 0 #8 October 23, 2008 It really depends on what your looking for. Ask around from other people that have been to both places. I am sure you will find either place fun, safe, and a nice new place to call home. Look forward to jumping with you and welcome to Houston. SimonBones 1 #14 October 27, 2008 4 hours is certainly doable. I drive 4.5 to get to the tunnel in NC and have made the 6 hour drive plenty of times for my Crosskeys visits.108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
jkbernstein 1 #15 November 10, 2008 I was gonna send you an email, but this is worth posting publicly: Skydive Spaceland ROCKS. Very, very well-run operation, nice facilities and aircraft, and super-cool staff. I am looking forward to an excuse to jump there again soon. Deserving of his own special mention is Scott Latinis, who does big way load organizing there; he's amazing!!!! He's a wonderful coach and a great guy, who comes up with some of the craziest, most fun stuff you've ever seen. (You might even enjoy getting off your head and doing some belly stuff with him, Simon. He's THAT good.) I had an absolute blast jumping with him this past weekend.May the (relative) wind take your troubles away...
