Ralph_W 0 #1 September 16, 2008 In October I will make a trip from Las Vegas up to Arches Nat. Park and down to Eloy. As some kind of warm up for Eloy I consider jumping during the touristic part of the trip. As I know from another discussion Mesquite is worth to stop and jump. However I found some other dropzones on the way that I would like to have some feedback on. - Skydive Zion - Skydive Moab - Skydive Sedona I only want to do a few fun jumps at each DZ. Any comments are appreciated. If there are some other DZ I did not mention nearby worth visiting, please let me know. Thanks. jamiem 1 #2 September 16, 2008 Whenever I go to Utah I always have to visit Skydive Utah in Toole close to Salt Lake City. If you make it that north into the state you should definitely check that place out...one of the best dzs I've ever been to an a beautiful view. pdj6p 0 #3 September 17, 2008 Sky dive zion is a tandem only operation. Skydive Moab is also mainly tandems but if you call ahead you may be able to get a jump in. If you go the last weekend of september, Moab will have a boogie going on with turbine aircraft. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment. jtval 0 #6 September 21, 2008 skydive zion is by appt only and its a tandem only thing. go to moab if you can. call about prices. they'll let you snag an open seat but if they don't have anything tandems scheduled you probably won't get up. I've been to arches/moab the place is beautiful. I was going to pay the tandem price just to get the plane in the air but my schedule was tight and I had continue with my drive. My photos My Videos
