angrypeppers 1 #1 December 16, 2007 Stopped by Chambersburg today to check it out. JR and Jack were there, and someone named Doug ( I think his name is Doug...sorry if I'm wrong!) stopped by to pick up his rig. Seems like a really cool DZ to call home. The weather was crap, so no one was jumping. JR and Jack answered a bunch of questions from my Dad and gave us a tour of the facilities. Hopefully, I can get back to PA this spring or summer to do some jumps and meet some people there...Burn the land and boil the sea, You can't take the sky from me. angrypeppers 1 #6 December 18, 2007 We'll be back sometime early summer. The ice storm wiped out our plans this trip. My parents house lost power yesterday, and they *may* get it back tomorrow. We had checked in to the Farnsworth House in Gettysburg yesterday, and they lost power too! We had to stay at a hotel in Mechanicsburg last nite and tonite with my parents and their dog...heading back to Denver in the morning. I'll definitely let you know when we'll be here next time. Thanks for the offer! Burn the land and boil the sea, You can't take the sky from me.
angrypeppers 1 #7 December 18, 2007 Yep, I liked the place as soon as we stepped inside. JR and Jack were all too happy to talk about skydiving, airplanes, whatever. I just got a good feeling there. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in PA.Burn the land and boil the sea, You can't take the sky from me.

Well, then you'll be delighted to know that after 3 years as packers, we both recently retired from that profession (YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!) since we have instructor ratings now. So, his sweaty balls will be busy strapped to a tandem student ) That sounds so vile, but you know what I mean!) Glad we didn't scare you off... it really is a great crowd. Bmore_chrissy 0 #22 December 27, 2007 Is C-burg going to be open new year's eve / day? Or this weekend ... looks iffy but Saturday looks like a maybe...? Ugh the weather SUCKS lately!
peregrinerose 0 #23 December 27, 2007 I don't know. You can email Kathie at [email protected] or call them to find out. When the weather is iffy, we just go to Maytown... much closer to home, we can get a jump in and go home without blowing 1/2 the day driving. In the past Cburg has been open for New Years though, so I doubt this year will be any different. I have a few Jan 1 skydives there Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda
