PIA symposium

See the details at www.pia.com.

The Symposium in Barcelona is one ADDED to the normal every other year schedule. There was great debate about adding this Symposium, siting one of the normal biannual symposia in Europe, and or waiting 3 years between U.S. symposium.

The final decision was to have a Symposium in Europe, now sited in Barcelona, in early 2008 and maintain the normal schedule of a U.S. symposium in early 2009. The 2009 Symposium will once again be in Reno.

so who is going ?

I plan to attend at least 1 day:)

I will be there. I am giving a seminar on Wingsuits and Wingsuit safety for both the jumper and DZSO/S&TAs and their European equivalents.

do you know when exactly ? can be interesting.

They haven't released the seminar schedule yet so I don't know when it will be. I opted to give it more than once if need be so chances are I will be giving it at least twice ,spread out over the days symposium runs.

Evidently I am the first speaker of the Symposium on day 1 from 8:00 -10:00 in classroom 1 and there are a lot of speakers this time so I will only be giving the seminar once. Thats all the info I have as of right now.

Yes, it is all done now.

Here is a listing of the sponsors and prizes that were awarded in the raffle drawing.

Note: If you didn't look for your raffle ticket number and now realize that you did win one of the few unclaimed prizes, you can write [email protected] and send her your winning ticket to collect your prize (but wait until their website is back up and operating next week).
