sharimcm 0 #3 June 25, 2007 There is a new DZ in Minden, NV called Skydive Tahoe. They are open, and flying a PAC out there. I talked with them a week or two ago... They seem like a friendly dz from our short phone conversation. www.skydivetahoe.com. Other than that, I know nothing about specific location or anything other than that. However from the myspace page it appears the DZ this thread is about is actually at Lake Tahoe. I did not know there was an airport at South Lake Tahoe, but there is. So is that where this DZ is or not?? I don't live out there, but am following this as I have a brother more than likely moving to reno and when I visit him I'd love to jump at Tahoe. d_squared431 0 #8 June 27, 2007 In the summer there are a lot of people who make lake jumps and I that is why some may think the DZ is on the lake. The main beach they land at is in Kingsbeach which is in California on the North Shore of Tahoe. It is about 20 minutes fron Truckee airport. I am not sure where in South shore they land at. Minden is about 35 miles from South Lake Tahoe.
