Raeford Boogie and Film Festival

Recommended Posts

I feel like a kid the night before Christmas! We got Ward's massive Mirage tent and wind-blades up, and Jeff Nebelkopf is in the house with all of his Tonysuits Wingsuit demos. As I was leaving for the day, Jeffro had just arrived! Tomorrow morning, we move Karl from Aerodyne out front with his urban assault vehicle and put up his wind-blades!

This thing hasn't even STARTED yet, and we're ALREADY not sucking at Raeford! B|:DB|

Kevin:

Please please please please do this again next year???

Seriously.

What an awesome boogie. All of us CSSers had wonderful times.

I know it must have been a huge amount of work for you, and you did us all proud.

Even John Lyman had fun .... enough said- it's been about 5 years since he'd had any fun skydiving.

Kevin - THANKS for all you did. We seriously appreciate it.

Just have better aim throwing me a girlie shirt next time :P.

All my best,
Dawn

Alot of fun. Oranized well. The videos were all exceptional. Nothing funner than skdiving together all day then going to the movies with ALL of your friends. Already looking forward to next year!

"Thanks" for all of the effort.

Matthew

I can't say enough great things about this boogie! It was the first weekend that I've had off all year and I had a BLAST! Thanks to the whole Raeford gang for welcoming us with open arms and making sure nobody went thirsty ;)

The film festival was absolutely awesome! I was really amazed by the variety of films. Pretty much every facet of the sport got some coverage, RW, Freefly, BASE, Ground Launch, Military FF, Swooping... HUGE thanks to Kevin and Scott for making it all come together :)
NC hasn't seen a boogie that big in a long time!

Awesome job McD!!! I was really impressed with the way that numerous people who were involved in the planning and behind the scenes activity took the time to mingle, greet and accomodate all who were in attendance! Nice touch!
We had a great time and will be looking forward to next year???!!!!!
Will a video be available for purchase of all the videos, or the top prize winners at least?
See ya next weekend!

....let's don't forget Military Demos. Misha's Black Daggers video was awesome! - and so were the demos that I saw on Saturday. Much thanks to the 82nd (and everyone else who was involved) - those demos rocked! The crowd was really "wowed" by your excellent CRW. Extremely well done.

wow- all these people showed up and I didn't know who in the world they were! Now they are piping up!
:D and I KNOW I talked to all of them.

Thanks to everyone for coming down (or up - or over) - it was a great weekend. I think Kevin is still recovering :D

At least no one passed out in my yard! The parking lot was a different story though.:o:D

I felt the same way, but I just didn't want to have a tag on my forehead saying....I'm Keka! introduce yourself! :P

it would be good if we could have the pictures posted at Raeford webpage.... I have a few, but still need to work on them.

We could only come for Saturday, but the jumps were great, swoops were cool, demos were cool, hot dogs were appreciated, burgers in the grill were very good. Nice to see some old Freefly friends.

Whats funny is i busted Kevins chops after the film festival for not mentioning us he felt so bad but it was funny cause he was already drunk. Gald yall liked it....We had 5 guys, put one rig out of comission doing the CRW and I was very tired afterward, still managed to film the big way too.
