Skydiving Vietnam

Hey boys & girls,

I 'm probably movin to vietnam for a year (interesting, I know). friend of mine has been there before and tried to find a dz-unfortunately he didn't have any luck (met a paraglider though).
But maybe one of U guys?????? Did anyone manage to jump over there?
Any comments are appreciated,

try exotic airsports or Exotciiskysports (or something like that) they organise most of what happens in South East Asia

There are dzs in Vietnam, I went back last year. The locals said that only the military men can jump.

So unless you make friends with the military guys there...than you can use their facilities.

hmmm, I've heard something similar like that. my mate told me, that the army sometimes offers civilists to to some static line jumps. well, this whole dz search will be a real challenge

hahaha....good luck! Thailand is just a skip & hop from Vietnam if you really want to jump.

I know the guy in charge behind all the air sports endeavours in VN and it's (there's one coming up in october) a static line course from a Mi-8. It is mostly to see what the public interest is. But there is a Boogie in Nha Trang coming up late February info-link.

Anyone got any updates on this or connections that can be shared about jumping in Vietnam. I recently was told that they are doing helicopter jumps but I have yet to be able to find anything regarding it.... Looking for anyone who might have details...
