kallend 1,623 #1 July 20, 2006 There is a good possibility that we might make an attempt to break the current 44-way Illinois POPS record later this year. It will be a 3-Otter shot with a target of 64 way. Yes, we have 3 Otters available. Location **probably* CSC at Hinckley, but still TBD. You don't have to be from IL to participate but you DO have to be 40 or over and RW current with big way experience. I am not the organizer but I have offered to collect names, so if you qualify and are interested, please email me (john-at-kallend-dot-net). Details to follow as they become available. Thanks.... I should get a slot on the SOS record 9-way.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

warpedskydiver 0 #8 July 22, 2006 But you DO know a few of the regs that YOU should be contacting. Rainbo, Gomei, and a few others would be a great start.

Well that would take an entire jump. I think Rainbo IS current, he jumped this month. Rainbo said he was interested and Gomei might be well enough by then. Don't forget Bluto! kallend 1,623 #12 August 3, 2006 OK, we have 3 Otters for the weekend of Sept 9-10. Location will be Skydive Chicago (Ottawa, IL). If you're interested, 40 or over, current and have big-way experience, let me know. We'll probably try to do a IL SOS record too (we need 9, have 5 so far)....
