kelpdiver 2 #2 May 24, 2006 This mail came from Skydance today: So, who said you can't always get what you want? You asked for another plane and we got it!!! That's right, if you weren't here last weekend then you missed the arrival of the newest addition to SkyDance, another PAC 750XL. It's already flown some formation loads, and we know this is bragging but watching those two planes take off for the first formation load last weekend was a beautiful sight. This weekend, to celebrate it's arrival in style, we're offering $18 tickets Saturday & Sunday, with $15 to 15k on Monday. Kaleidoscope will be organizing formation belly jumps and there will be some freeflyin' with the boys from Guano and Groovalicious. The organizers will be out in force, get yourself on some fun belly or freefly jumps, maybe they'll be up to some hybrid formation load action (hint, hint). Which would be very fun to watch on the new boomin', huge audio/video extravaganza that has been set up for your viewing pleasure in the hangar (thanks to Galli, Cahill and Phil for all your help and support). We all know skydivers love watching themselves, now you can see yourself on the big screen! :) Don't miss out on Saturday night. We start off with a wonderful dinner at the Dive Bar (check out www.skydivebar.com) prepared by our very own chef, Mr. Russell Jackson. It's okay if you overindulge on the delicious meal because you can party it off afterwards at our "Halfway to Halloween" party. October is just too cold sometimes to really dress up, so get your crazy costumes out of storage and bring 'em this weekend. ------ I'm sure the others will be having fun too. I think I'm going Davis one day, and at least one of the others on another day. (third day is to play with the new motorcycle) I think you can camp/crash at all of them, but I've only camped at Davis during the AB. People sleep in the packing room at Hollister.
