Colorado Swoop competition

Recommended Posts

Attention Colorado Swoopers as well as Surrounding State Swoopers,

On Sunday June 6th, 2004, during the 5280' Boogie at Mile Hi Skydiving in Longmont, CO, we will be hosting a Swoop competition.
Tentative plans for this competition include three events.....Distance, Speed, and Zone Accuracy. Two rounds for each event.

Entry fee: $30.00 gets you into all three events.

Scoring: Competitors will be given a score based on their ranking in each round. The combined score for each round will be used to determine the winner of each round. The combined score of all rounds will be used to determine the overall winner. (12 competitors equals 12 points for 1st, 11 points for 2nd, etc.)

Rules for each event will closely follow PST rules.

Prizes: 1/6 of Entry fees to 1st place finisher of each event. (12 competitors equals $60 per event)

1/2 of Entry fees to overall winner. (12 competitors equals $180)( This means you could actually place 2nd or 3rd in each event and still take home 1/2 of the prize money if no one person does great in all three.)

Other prizes from Boogie sponsors to be determined later (Go Fast, PD, Mirage, Etc.)

Although you do not need to pre-register for this competition, please express your interest by sending an e-mail to me at dsbbreck@earthlink.net. This will help us organize this event to make it run as smoothly as possible.
