The tradional go to town and watch the fireworks is in Raeford. I will need to check and see what evening. I would guess Friday. Then if you really want to get your heart and soul into some serious whoa, you have got to go to Fort Bragg for the 4th of July event. It ends with a fireworks show that is put to music which is great. My favorite is either the presentation (which takes about 20 minutes) of all the US state flags or the music played by the army band with the final ovature with real cannon fire.
