Rocky point Boogie?

To everyone thinking of going to Rocky Point, I am attaching some info
about the boogie. Just realize that when you are dealing with Mexican
companies, things work a little differently and they are definitely a
lot slower to respond. The hotel reservation line is usually answered by
an answering machine.

Ryan, Sharky, Michele and I will be flying down to Arizona on Wednesday
the 23rd on Southwest from Oakland. Our flight leaves at 8:35pm. We are
going to stay at a friend of mine's house in Scottsdale and then head
out in the morning. They usually don't start jumping until Thursday
afternoon, so if you want to fly out Thursday morning you should be
fine. They do jump all day on Sunday, so you might want to come home on
Monday. We are probably driving back Sunday night and staying at my
friend's house again. We fly back at 3:00pm on Monday. If you plan on
flying down on Wednesday night, I know there is a Econo Lodge near the
airport that is about $45.00 per night. You can make reservations
through Expedia or go to yahoo.com and search for Econo Lodge ASU. We
decided to get a full size car rather than a minivan because it was $100
cheaper. When booking your rental car remember that you have to get
Mexico insurance, which can be as high as $30 per day. It is cheaper if
you get it somewhere other than the rental car agency, but it is MUCH
more convenient to just pay the rental company. If you do come down
Wednesday night and you want to caravan down with us we will probably
try to leave between 9-10am. If your looking to share rooms/rides, I'm
not sure who is going for sure, but I'm pretty sure Alana, Dave, Jake,
Donnie & Courtney, Q are all going and I know there are probably 10-15
others that are thinking about it. Its going to be awesome, so get your
butts down there!!!

The dates are April 24-27. $25.00 boogie fee. Hotel and campground are right on the beach where you land. Not as luxurious as San Carlos, but much cheaper since you can drive from Phoenix. Had a great time last year and can't wait to get down there again. Contact Dawn Rae Hogue for more info ([email protected]). It looks like there will be a large group of NorCal Freeflyers there this year.

I am driving from Scottsdale, so if anyone wants to carpool....let me know. If everyone has a ride but would be willing to convoy please PM me. I don't speak Spanish except to order beer and ask for my embassy.

Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
