do you still jump at the DZ where you made your first???

I changed....but due to me being forced....moving to Illinois from Florida will do that to you. I miss Sebastian so much. I can't wait to get back there this spring. it's gonna be a blast.

I do like my new home DZ's...hinckley,SDC, and archway...I split my jumps evenly between them. like em all for different reasons..

Learned at Skydive USA in Wharton Texas. Definately the best parties around, they weren't called the porno DZ for nothing. B|

Unfortunately they are now closed :( and I've moved to Colorado. Still I'll never forget the people or the memories.

Still jump at mine. It's a great DZ. I do plan on visiting other DZ's at later time ($$ talks unfortunately - so it's not going to be as quickly as I'd like).
Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

Jump at mine still... 13 DZ's visited and its still the one that actually makes me happy... and can cause frustration at the same time. I was going to make a closer DZ home but I don't care for the planes there so I moved on.

I still call my first my home. Mainly because of the people. I think when you go through your training and all at one DZ you really get to know the people, you learn who to trust and who to ask questions of, and mostly you form a bond with those people, making it very hard to replace! I love my home DZ, Emerald Coast!

Cool question...

I originally did my first jump and first 100 actually at Hollister Skydiving in CA. Then I started jumping at Skydive Monterey Bay and it quickly became my new home DZ. I have also jumped at several DZ's in the San Fran Bay Area but Monterey was my favorite place. I got all of my instructional ratings there too. As of this past July I slowly started jumping back at Hollister under new ownership. As off today my original home DZ is now my current home DZ. Adventure Center Skydiving in Hollister CA. It's really cool doing AFF or other work jumps with some of the same instructors who taught me how to skydive several years ago!

My first jump was at an awesome place called Citrusdal (South Africa) in February 1993. I now live in London, but am really looking forward to a 'home-coming' of sorts when I go back to South Africa in April. I didn't spend that many weekends there, but did do both SL and (7 years later) AFF progression there.

The vibe there is good (at least I hope it still is! :)

I still jump at Skydive Atlanta where I did my first tandem. Thanks Howard! I have jumped at several other DZs in the area but SD ATL has the best landing area and some of the old people are still there. Those that have left I can usually find at one of the other DZs. I used to run into many of my home DZ friends while at Deland. Howard now owns and operates SD Flagler Beach so I even snuck in a cool beach jump with him for #300.
