Old-Style Static Line Training

Recommended Posts

I'm going back a while here: does anyone have or know where to find a training outline for student parachutists via the static line system? I need a lesson plan from back in the '60's for static lining round parachutes. Need it for round canopies, not todays squares. I need the whole plan, PLF's, mals, canopy control, etc. I'm hoping some of the old-timers here can point me in the right direction. With a very minimum of smart-ass remarks and questions, please. I'm in need of the plan(s) for a good reason.

Thanks in advance!

Nothing like slipping that big ole round tank.... and doing CRW with other jumpers bouncing their canopy off of yours or your suspension lines... especially since exit alti was 1250'

Does this not cover enough for you?

(sorry, couldn't resist)

Since we have a good number of rounds at our DZ at times, I could maybe get you a lesson plan, 'm just hoping we have them in English as well (could be, we have brits jumping here sometimes). If you still need it, I could ask around...
