Flyaway wind tunnel? in vegas?

It's a fun tunnel, but not the best in the country. You can make a tandem just about anyplace, but there are not many tunnels, and you won't find one near Skydive Chicago. Spend a few dollars on tunnel time and take the story back to Chicago...it'll be fun.

Hey Chris...

I dont know much about the tunnel in LV..However I can tell you that spending time in the tunnel will help you as you more in the long run then just doing a tandem. I say go for the tunnel...

And when you do get ready to do your grad jump at SDC..come on over to the red packing mats, the Team Funnel corner...We will be happy to help you organize it!!!!

Go to the tunnel and have fun - it's a nice break from casinos. I went when I was about your stage - still in AFP and didn't enjoy it because I expected to benefit from my dozen skydives. The body position is slightly different than skydiving and I spent 3 or 4 of my five "sessions" in the tunnel just working on getting stable. It was fun - but nothing like skydiving.

Yes... My daughter and I arrived early one morning, and were able to buy a double session,, and then it worked out that it was just the instructor and Allison and Me..when it was time to enter the Flyaway.:)They gave us almost 15 minutes of time,, and we had a BLast !!!.The instructor did a sidebody pin, on Al,,, and they rotated for a bunch of 360's....
It was a beautiful visual for a skydiving parent to witness.....I did find the session to be very Physical,,, and was really "breathing hard" when we were done,,, but it was a Good experience,, and far less costly than the amount we "threw to the wind" in the casinos...
Look a bit to find it,, it is located a couple of blocks off the Main Drag,, but it is a fun place...OH yes.. try to get there,,,, "before the Tour Bus arrives" ;)

the people/ instructors are WAY cool and friendly
but if you have 12 jumps and are only planning a few minutes in the tunnel I would try to jump instead.
unfortunately I dont have my coach lisence yet but if they let you jump at gravity zone I think you can find someone to jump with who'll help point out some thing you may need help with.

I may even get to to a close separation dive with you.(its not exactly a 2 way but its not exactly two solos either if you get me!;))
