Skydiving Maneuver How-Tos?

Recommended Posts

Is there a website that explains how to do different types of skydiving maneuvers step by step? I know I could just easily ask somebody at my dropzone how to do a maneuver, but while I'm not at the DZ, I think about it 24/7. A site like this would give me something to look at and pratice until I could get to the DZ to try 'em out. =]

You can find that info in the SIM.

Does the sim contain info on basic turns / rolls / loops etc that was being asked about? I haven't seen it in there or am i missing something??..

Yes, but if you want illustrations and more details, get the book mentioned above (The Skydiver's handbook by Dan Poynter).

nothing beats going out and trying stuff in the air with the help of a coach, imo.

That's the best thing that has been said so far in this thread.

Yes, but as bigfritz pointed out, not all of us can spend 24/7 at the DZ. But we do think about it 24/7. We need other ways to feed the addiction - books, videos, websites, post whoring, etc. Myself, I've been looking around for different people's descriptions of using just legs to fly. Tried it a few times and it's great - but I want to know more.......
