Mad47 0 #27 November 24, 2003 QuoteFigured I would answer my own question102 seconds from 13,500, deplyed at 2,100. Tracking dive in a tight RW Bec suit. Derek Gosh ... what was your average FF speed? My best documented result was 92 mph (according to ProTrack, tracking all the way from 13.5 to 4K) in tight RW suit but it was a while ago (before I studied your article) .... RevJim 0 #32 November 25, 2003 You people have got to be shitting me! Over 4 minutes? Dayum!!!!! I mean, I'm still new to the Bird Man suits, but I've been happy lately to keep my freefall numbers the same, time wise, while shortening my actual distance. Around 60 seconds in 6000 feet, on average, but I'm new, and just getting the hang of it. WOW, now that's a target to shoot for! It's your life, live it! tunaplanet 0 #37 November 28, 2003 My longest freefall was 10 minutes. I didn't have a chute so I jumped after my friend who did have one. Once I grabbed him we held a great, crystal clear conversation the entire free-fall. Once at 1,000 feet he pulled and I miraculously held on, both of us landing just in the nick of time... Wait, that was in a movie I saw...never mind. Forty-two
