This will give a general lay of the land. Note that this area is a skinny little barrier island. You don't just have to worry about the ocean to the east, but also the huge inland waterway on the west side of the island. Also, these satellite photos were taken in 1993, so what looks like a lot of open scrub brush land to the west, may now be developed and full of houses. Because of the slope, I don't recommend landing there (splat!), and I'm sure that they'll have a designated place for us somewhere in that long, open grassy strip.
