What other countdowns are used in different countries, besides "Ready, Set, Go!"?

Recommended Posts

Here in Poland most skydivers say "Ready, Set, Go!", but I heard some say "In, Out!". What other countdowns are there, mainly country-specific? Is it always in English language?

USA: "Ready, Set, Go!"
Poland: "Ready, Set, Go!", "In, Out!"

Please continue the list :)

We have someone at SDC by the name of Dennis who used to be with a 4-way team. They used to say "bang, boom, pow!" for the exit count. Hence, bangboompow.com.:D

I don't drink during the day, so I don't know what it is about this airline. I keep falling out the door of the plane.

a lot of the time I dont use a verbal count when doing 4-way,

outside centre just shakes grips when ready, then bobs up, down, then go. Can't really hear a count when wearing a full face most of the time anyway. When i do use a count it's 'ready', 'set', 'go' but always backed up by a visual key

Launching a four-way you can't hear a thing. Common ones I know of:

Shake, down, go.
Shake, up, down, go.
Stomp, down, go. My fave.
Shake, stomp, wiggle yer arse, up, down, go. This one is only used by freeflyers launching hybrids. Smartarses :P.

You only said that because I reminded you of it in a "old times" thread -- right????

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

in the USA we occasionally use
"Eat Fuck Skydive"
for the count....

if you dont tell the newbies that this is what you will use for the count..... you can count on them being late on exit!!! :D
