falxori 0 #3 May 29, 2005 when i was in france, we had not problems with the airline, but the airport police (their TSA) wouldn't allow the rig as carry-on (or as she put it: "my airport, my rules" ). we had to go all the way back to the checkin counter and back (which btw, was very easy and unsecured through a few side doors, talk about security...) EricaH 0 #4 May 31, 2005 Many airlines have a list online of acceptable carry on items. I know I've printed it up for United & Southwest & have seen the Contenential list. They all say sport parachute rigs. Just another precaution. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. Brian425 0 #5 June 1, 2005 Don't forget to take out your hook knife. I had a TSA take mine. He was nice about it; but, it was still gone. Have fun. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.
Frenchy68 0 #6 June 1, 2005 I flew to AZ the other day, took my rig as a carry on. I had 2 hook knives in the bag. No one saw anything. But they got my nail clipper!
