Worlds highest formal dinner (24500ft) record attempt - tomorrow

Recommended Posts

Anyone seen this? It seems kind of an odd record to break but whatever floats your boat i guess. I wonder if food tastes "less" due to thinner atmosphere up there? Not sure how they will eat with masks on either, but i'm sure we will see some coverage in the news tomorrow.

> Why wouldn't they just use cannulas? Worked fine for us at 26,000.

I imagine that's what they'll do, but I recall how taking it off for just a few seconds to don the helmet had quite an effect. Unless they eat very slowly, they'd be off the gas half of the time. Maybe tubes into the nose?

Record itself seems silly, as well as fact they'll only break it by 50ft.

that's no real challenge:|
The guys that had a formal dinnet ontop of Everest, THAT's a challenge, all those wankers have to do is is still untrill eating height:|:|:|:|
You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky)

How's yours doing?

Has anyone heard if they got the record or not, yesterday? Their web site says nothing so I'm guessing it either didn't go or didn't break the record.
