huka551 0 #1 August 2, 2005 I have a Hornet 190, and to me it doesn't seem to open hard, but then again I am a newbie, maybe it is hard and I don't realize it. After I jump, in the next day or so I notice that I am sore, my hip bones, my shoulder blades, etc. Is it possible that my hornet opens hard and I don't have the experience to know the difference? GravityGirl 0 #5 August 2, 2005 Skydiving will make you sore. Unless you spent your whole life up until now walking around in the arch position with someone holding your arms back. Your body will adapt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Your body will adapt. Exactly. If I do at least two jumps and have had to put any amount of effort into arching (so, doing RW with basically almost anyone since I fall slow), my butt is sore the next day.
