skydiving films

Recommended Posts

Aloha everyone,
I'm a big film buff. As a surfer, I became a huge fan of entertaining surf films, like "Riding Giants," and "Blue Horizon." As a skydiver in-training, I was curious if there are any good skydiving films out there that come highly recommended? Not instructional stuff, but more documentery-style movies.

Mahalo

Good Stuff and More Good Stuff by Joe Jennings. Anything by Norman Kent. Flyboyz Film Festival compilations are cool too. Worthless Eye Candy. There's tons of em. These are just what came to mind quick. Take your pick.

Everyone seems to have missed out the best skydiving movie of them all... Cutaway! Can't think why... :D:D:P

Alec Baldwin... what an actor!

I got a new VHS copy of Cutaway for less than the cost of a blank VHS tape, whereas my Point Break DVD cost me $4.50 (I was robbed on that one).

I dont know if yall have seen thi syet,

http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/651.html

It shows some nifty RW and swooping type stuff, its short but kind of cool. On th esame site, there ia also a video taken from the show Max X that shows a guy on his first AFF jump where his main fails. After a short out of control free fall hi sinstructor pulls his reserve. Just when he thinks its over, the poor guy smacks into a bunch of power lines. Ouch.
