Your Skydiving Goals for 2005?

Recommended Posts

Enjoy my trip to Elsinore in Jan more than I did in 01 (broken a Fib dislocated ankle)

Be successfull on my Tandem Course (April 05 hopefully)

Shed some lard and be successfull on my AFF cours (TBC)

Compete in the UK Artistic Nationals

Make 500 jumps this year, making a total of 2000.

Perfect my high performance landings.

Most importantly

To continue to enjoy teaching people to parachute, and progress in the sport.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

As I am new in the sport, I have some basic goals:

- to land without falling and rolling (It is getting better, but sometimes it is quiet spectacular),
- to downsize my parachute
- to follow some rw coaching
- to jump with other people

I just want to learn the basic stuff and do it well!!!!

When I see the goals of other people... I think in myself... within some time, I want to do that too ;)

Make a shitload of jumps.

Improve my video skills.

Get my Tandem rating.

Buy a new container (and canopy if I can afford it).

Get my AD-B.

Get on a single completed 10 way.

Make new friends.

Have fun.

Don't die (or kill anybody else).

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. B|

Get a slot on the 06 world team

Oh yes... I am doing everything I can to get there too... around 200 out of my last 250 jumps have been big-way oriented, as well as most of the tunnel time I've done.

I'm either gonna fly my way into it, or have tons of fun trying. I prefer the first option, though...

My goal for 2005 is to start jumping again! I haven't jumped in about a year and a half due to the fact that my daughter takes up most of my time and money.

So this year the goal is to get back in the air. I'm hoping to take a trip out to Perris in the spring and start jumping in Chicago this summer (or whenever it gets warm).

i just began skydiving but my first goals are to complete my AFF jumps and then get my A license then i'll go from there

Done. Plus my C license.

What he said... plus ...

--Don't get hurt (this also implicitly includes "don't die"). Worst injury so far this year was major road rash on my leg after PLFing on a rough surface with capri pants on. Oops.
--Buy my own gear Done.
--Continue learning every day even after I get off student status Yep.
--Get to know my DZ and the people out there and continue becoming part of the community Think I succeeded there.
--Jump somewhere else (haven't figured out whether this will be at some big event, or traveling with local jumpers or just when I happen to be traveling somewhere interesting). Let's see... So far I've jumped at 12 DZs in 6 states and one foreign country. I think I met that goal :D.
--HAVE FUN Not only yes, but HELL YES.
