This article was written in 1996, but at least at that time, you could only land an AN-2 back at your chosen base airport, and you couldn't jump from one on purpose. (See the section near the bottom, "There's Only One Problem: the FAA Doesn't Like An-2s".) This may have changed since then; I don't know.
