itllclear 1 #27 January 29, 2007 Somebody asked me what it takes to be known as a "dinosaur" in this sport. I told him not until you're on a POPS load with people who hadn't been born when you made your first jump. I've got about 2 1/2 years to go."Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there." "Your statement answered your question."

EDYDO 0 #30 January 29, 2007 Quote 26 years in the sport.. Damn you're old Actually, Chuck just turned POPS material a couple of years ago. I had to compete against him in his first POPS meet at Lake Wales. He started jumping when he was a baby !!! Ed

Usetawuz 1 #34 January 31, 2007 26 years! Congrats Chuck. It seems like you've decided to give the sport a try - you know, just to see if you like it. Here's wishing you another 26! _________________________________________ The older I get, the better I was!
Usetawuz 1 #35 January 31, 2007 *** I began on Oct. 4, 1980 and I can relate. I even had a Pegasus at one time. As a side note, I happen to be a Black jumper and I often wonder if there are any other Black jumpers out there who have been at it as long as I have. *** Chuck named a few. There are others, Some no longer jump, others don't jump much, but started well before you: Emmit Norris, Sonny Hill, Bob Brown and me. _________________________________________ The older I get, the better I was!
