26 years in the sport

Recommended Posts

Somebody asked me what it takes to be known as a "dinosaur" in this sport.

I told him not until you're on a POPS load with people who hadn't been born when you made your first jump.

I've got about 2 1/2 years to go.
"Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there."

"Your statement answered your question."

It has been an honor to have shared some of those 26 years in the sky with you.

You 'da Man!

Chuck...this post was from me...somebody at the dz sneaked in while I went to whizz and left themselves logged on and I didn't realize it until today.
My reality and yours are quite different.
I think we're all Bozos on this bus.

I began on Oct. 4, 1980 and I can relate. I even had a Pegasus at one time. As a side note, I happen to be a Black jumper and I often wonder if there are any other Black jumpers out there who have been at it as long as I have.

Chuck named a few. There are others, Some no longer jump, others don't jump much, but started well before you: Emmit Norris, Sonny Hill, Bob Brown and me.
