ChrisL 2 #1 February 22, 2007 ...and all they had flying was a Cessna 182 I'm not proud. I've made many jumps from 182's and added a few more yesterday. Just didnt expect it at one of the premier turbine DZ's on the east coast :-)__ My mighty steed
NWFlyer 2 #2 February 22, 2007 On a Wednesday off-season? Doesn't seem that crazy."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
pilotdave 0 #3 February 22, 2007 I went to Deland in January on a wednesday and all they had flying was a 182. We couldn't even get a full load for my second jump, but they sent it up anyway. ...and that's their busy season! Dave
ChrisL 2 #4 February 22, 2007 Been jumping there for 3 years and never saw that plane fly jumpers :-) Nice days in February are hard to come by. Add to that the Wednesday discount and I'd have thought there would have been more than 5 people there :-) One load was just me and my buddy. I've never been that alone in the sky at Cross Keys before __ My mighty steed

Hayfield 0 #7 February 23, 2007 It was a nice day, you're lucky you got to jump. Hell, had i known they were open I probably would have taken the day off and drove down myself.
