It's not "woofo", it's "wuffo". Which literaly translated means "Wuffo you skydive?" or "What for you skydive?". The term goes back decades and is usually meant in a derogatory term to describe people who do not skydive. Or, in a more narrow sense, people who do not understand why we skydive, even after hours of explanations.

To most of us, there are two types of people in the world, skydivers and wuffos. Some of each group are cool, some are not.

so, to get back to the original question, how would YOU describe the mind-set you're in?

and what makes you skydiving?

for me it'd be living on the edge! and putting my life "at risk" every weekend again.. which i do already, but anyway..

It's as close as a human being can get to actually being able to fly.

nor is it on mine, but to be honest, somehow i wouldnt care really.. i try to be as safe as possible, but if everything would go wrong.. well, so be it!

Sorry, but IMO, with that attitude, you're not being as safe as you can possibly be.

If you really don't care, does that mean if you're having a spinning malfunction and you're having a hard time cutting away because of the G force, are you going to give up, cause you "wouldn't care really" if you go in?

Just a thought.

not that i've been there exactly, but i had other life-threatening situations to handle.. believe me, i did everything i could to stay safe.. and if i didnt, i wouldnt be here, highspeed-accidents, around 120km'h, (avoided) included!

again, if EVERYthing would go wrong..
i am trying to be as safe as i possibly can be.. i came upon lifethreatening situations some times.. not only druggies going for my wallet, being a "target" on shooting grounds in service, traffic, rockclimbing.. name it, been there, done that.. but if it was the time.. i'll definitely be ready..
