How many jumps?

Recommended Posts

Just for fun
How many jumps the biggest Dz do in a year in states?
I think I saw that Skydive City in Z-Hills did 67000 last year. What about Deland,Eloy, Perris and others?
What about Taupo in New Zeland, and some in France?
I heard 25000 for Taupo!
When you think you're good...this is when you become dangerous.

230,000 p.a. in Empuria, Spain.

That seems like an awfully high number if they have only one Otter.

It would have to fly 26 loads a day 365 days a year...

I think they are using the metric system! ;)

Ah OK. Those are metric jumps B|

Otherwise it might not make sense that a DZ that has 3 otters and 3 skyvans and operates year round and boasts a 150,000 jumps average
could be doing 80,000 jumps less than a DZ with one Otter and a Porter.

ive been jumping when they have had all 6 going, dont forget they also have several other planes as well. im not sure if the boogie jumps are counted into that as most of the planes go to alot of the boogies as well.
light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak
