coming to the DZ as much as possible, not necissarily for jumping, but to help other people out
helping new people how to pack and giving controles without them having to ask me, just walk up to them and see how they are doing, if they have a problem i'll always help them out

get better at flying both my body and canopy.
- attend elsinore's excell camp as much as possible.
- accurately land where I want to, on every jump.
- Get coach rating, if i feel i am ready.
- fly a camera *think it might be what i want to do in the sport*
- get invited to be part of one of the 'exclusive Mel's *or someone else's* Invite only jumps. It is then that i will know that I am getting better at my flying.

lifelong skydiving goals: become TI, AFFI, get on a team . .. the usual. hey, so what if i already have a team name picked. haha.

My goals:
- Get to 1000 jumps
- Carry on learning to swoop. Enter the intermediate swoop comp at nationals next year.
- Try to get people more excited about freeflying at my club.
- Towards the end of next year start giving VRW a try.
- Go to the states to get coaching and jump my ass off (already getting my VISA organised :))

Its going to be a good year!! :)

So to all that put in here first and foremost to be safe... does that mean you are going to make changes to you jumps to give you a better chance for survival? Just curious what it means to be safe in this sport to others since it is on top of mosts peoples lists.

To me it means not getting complacent. It means that no matter what else I do, no matter what new things I try, no matter what other goals I have, if I compromise safety in pursuit of those goals ... what's the point?

Perfect way to say it, and I hope everyone read this, then read it again. I hope I can achieve the same thing. I personally did sometimes go out of my experience level last year more tiimes then I wish I had and learned alot of valuable lessons. Thanks Krisanne.
