2007 Goals

Recommended Posts

Stay alive
Get out of debt, ideally stay out of it...
Buy a rig
Get FS1 and my B licence
Ideally reach 200, but in reality i'd be happy by just getting in 100 or so.
Maybe nearing the end of the year try out some ff, or else start to train for fs.

1) Continue to pull the cord, tug the seatbelts, and yank the strings without getting hurt.
2) Choose what to do next season (4-way RW, 4-way RW video, 2-way FF. or 2-way FF video)
3) Do it.

No specific jump number goal... ...the past couple years I haven't seemed to need one... ...maybe an upper limit is in order. :)

buy a new... everything!
Jump as much as I can.
Stay alive and unbroken.-well, I think this will be at the top.

Hey, Magic Guy (Corey) you gonna jump on bridge day, or just hang out and watch? I'm making the trip down next year...can't miss it.

Up the pace a bit - 200 jumps for the year.

Compete in 4-way at the UK Nationals.

The other two done, try and acquire an FS coach rating to start paying it all forward B|

Oh, and jump in at least two countries I haven't jumped yet.

I'd love to finish 2007 with my D license.

On the way, I'd love to get into some bigger RW formations (22 way is my biggest to date).

I need to be a better packer.

It's fun jumping new planes and places, would like to do that. Right now I"m scheduled for a conference in California(San Diego) in January which means I'll have to jump at Perris.

I would like to make a couple of lasting friendships. All the people I jump with are friendly, but I've not found those one or two that I can call and talk about shit that doesn't deal with skydiving. Right now I've got some really precious non-skydiving friends, but I'd like to get some who know what I'm talking about when the talk turns to the sky.

Of course there is the besafe thing.

Finally, I'd like to be an influence for safety on any DZ that I go to. Problem areas that I commonly see are exit order and spacing. I would like to learn as much as possible to "evangelize" about it. I'd like to be a part of the effort to kill the 45 degree rule that seems to keep raising it's head.

That's enough.

Cheers,

MH

My goals are pretty straight forward.

1. Get proficient at headdown. I am starting to get the basic jist of it but I need quite a bit of work.
2. Get a few more pictures into parachutist.
3. Compete at Nationals in 4-way.
4. Get my AFFI Rating.

- Do a whole bunch of RW camps
- Get my own rig
- Go to canopy piloting school
- Attend my first boogie
- Get a B License
- Jump the Jet at Perris
- Learn everything I can
- Get a 10 - 15% increase in salary so that I can afford the above...

... And stay safe (should go without saying). :D :)
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.
