jsaxton 0 #52 March 15, 2008 I know a few coaches who shouldn't be on anything bigger than an 8way. Kallend knows what he's talking about, there's an old saying in skydiving: "show up and shut up, you MIGHT learn something"

gofastrlbrown 0 #54 March 21, 2008 A Base jump would be the cheapest!! LOL I would worry about where I was going to get the best training whatever the cost. GOFASTIt is strange, the more I practice, the better I get!
jmar595 0 #55 March 21, 2008 I went to a party at Skydive Dallas last weekend. I was invited by Reginald, didn't see him though, but was a good party. Met with some guys and gals there that have NUMEROUS jumps. Looks like a good place to jump. I have a little more to lose before I can jump, especially there, 215 lbs. I am at 252 now. Lost 13 lbs in little less than 2 weeks. i have to get the funds available also. Shooting for a first jump end of April. I want a long freefall, base jumping dosen't really give you that. elias123 0 #58 March 22, 2008 In 2006 I paid 700 euros for a complete PAC course (French AFF) with video (3 cameramen: both intsructors and a seperate cameraman), a week's food and accomodation. Very good deal imo."In a mad world, only the mad are sane"

boris_77 0 #61 March 22, 2008 Thanks, did you get your A-Licence with them? If so how much was it in total?
elias123 0 #62 March 22, 2008 Hi :) No, I did not get my 'A-licence' there and I still don't have it. It's not something I find important. I think the entire PAC/AFF course (including food, housing and camera) transport from Belgium to Bouloc and back (by plane and train) and of course drinks :) together was something like 1050-1100 euros. I do have to mention that I 'booked' this course thru the 'UCPA' (Union nationale des centres sportifs de plein air) wich is a french sports organisation. http://www.ucpa.com/home.aspx?etat=ok If you plan on going I'll help you out. Just send me a PM with your questions :) Blues Eli"In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
