No one has posted anything about this yet so I guess I'll start. Apparently, an Indiana business man set his Piper Malibu on autopilot and bailed out over Alabama. The plane was contacted by airtraffic control and eventually intercepted by fighter jets before going down in a semi-unpopulated area in Florida. I suspect he could be tracked via radar under canopy. I'd also like to know if he jumped a bailout rig or actually used a sport rig. Number of jumps? Exit/deployment altitude? Landing area?
