Employee Aviation Risk Policies?

Recommended Posts

At a previous company I worked for, I was attempting to organize a group of tandem skydives for team building. Someone commented that there was a policy requiring that only n employees at a time could fly on an airplane together.

Is this a pretty common policy with big companies?

Some will not allow it at all, about got myself in some serious trouble and had nothing to do with it.
Just the link between work and skydiving, a few of the trainers found out that I jumped and wanted to try it.
Anyway was explained to me that while they were here in the states, the company was responsible for there well being and could not allow them to take part in such a thing.
Some of them went anyway, just kept it to themselves,:D:D

I used to work for a company that would only let 2 people from each department/project fly together for Disaster purposes. This was for every day employees so the policies are out there, now if people follow them is another matter.
