[Italy] Where to jump in Sienna [/Italy]

Recommended Posts

I'm going to Sienna for study abroad this winter (Jan 4th to Feb 1)

Does anyone on here live there?

Are there any drop zones in the area?

Are there certain rules and regulations different from the US that will not allow me to jump? Like will my USPA License card be valid in Italy?

most likely, they WILL know; since you have a USPA license.. ;)

it wont cost you an arm and a leg to get that fixed tough..

Wait,

Are we talking about third party insurance from the University or third party insurance from the Dropzone? How do you skydive in another country?

3rd party insurance for SKYDIVING; your uspa-one only covers 50'000$, while in europe most countries demand it to be 1'000'000 euros, in some cases 3'000'000 euros..

I'm in Italy at the moment.
I think the closest place to Siena is skydive tortuga in Arezzo:

or you can come to Molinella and jump from the PAC750:

Yes you can jump with your USPA license and equipment, as long as you have an AAD fitted to your rig.
After 6 months in the country you'll have to get an Italian license, but that's just a matter of paperwork and a fee. Not your case anyway.
No special rules...

Give a shout when you're over here!
