Hey guys,

I currently hold a CSPA A Cop, looking to jump somewhere near LV in July. Weekend and week days.

Any good and fun place?

I've hear Skydive Mesquite is the place to go near Las Vegas. Many of the Vegas DZs are either tandem factories (that don't even allow funjumpers, gasp!), or treat fun jumpers like crap.
Everybody seems to have high praises for Mesquite

And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant.

It's the *only* real DZ in that area. Nice people, good place. Not as much to do as Vegas, however.

It seemed like the odds were pretty good out there at the casino's.


Ohhhhh I would say that there was plenty to do after hours with a number of casino's.....and I thought the people watching of the families with plural wives that come down from small towns like Cedar City at the Virgin River Casino... was pretty priceless.

What do you mean after hours? Are we talking the middle of the night (when vegas goes wild) or during the late morning, early afternoon (when everyone is recovering)

DUUUUDE.. the reason to go to Mesquite... for me... is to skydive ...BUT afterhours... ya just gotta hit the casino

( you know... that whole after the big yellow star we are 8 light minutes from goes behind the horizon)

Mesquite! It's only an hour ride so i stayed in Vegas and rode there on jump days. No jumping every day anyway.
