You need a C licence and it gets windy and there's a big ocean across the street from the DZ with heavy surf if you decide to put it in the water you should know how to swim. Deland has a bunkhouse that's more like a shed. There are skydivers who own bunkhouses but they are a few miles away, not on the dz. Eloy is definitely a nice dz, but I found it to be quite chilly in the mornings. I'd rather save money by sleeping onsite in a tent OR rooming with a fellow skydiver somewhere for a moderate fee of food and beer PS. Not that I care, but while I was looking at the website, I saw that under the "Experienced jumpers" menu, the word 'orgenizing' is misspelled.
