TV PRODUCER TRYING TO SOURCE VIDEO

Recommended Posts

The website listed on the bottom of the video doesn't help?

And we skydivers wonder why the general public think were nuts. They only see these type of "Things gone bad" on television depicting the sport.

I am a tv producer for trutv's It Only Hurts When I Laugh. I saw this video on YouTube and am trying to find out where it came from.

Here is the link:

Thank you

That"s a very serious impact travelling at high speed.

NOT FUNNY AT ALL.

Jump out of you car at 30 mph into a brick wall feet first and see if it's funny.

If I was a tv show producer, this is definitely how I would
disguise trolling for content as a legitimate thread,
but... what do I know?

Hey, at least she was honest about her intentions.

Besides, if the tv company, pays the guy who shot the video and the smashed up guy, he could at least get a little bit out of it. The producer will often and clearly state she has a low budget but don't believe them.

They'll have put a story and commentary from the jumper along with it. I would negotiate final say into the story since it will most likely get played out as him being an idiot. (yes he screwed up but whatever)

i dont think the poster has any trouble trying to make this guy look bad, he did it all by himself. Other than a cactus and barbed wire factory, im sure u could find a better LZ. Spectators everywhere just left of the dirt ramp on his approach. Looks like large mounds right of the ramp he hit as well as a sunken in circle track area with a high speed approach. I dont see any outs or even the good part of the LZ for that matter. Wonder why there is so much red tape for a demo ?? way to get it on video !!!!

It's the MaD sKiLlZ:ph34r:

OK, I think I "get" the goofy uppercase/lowercase mixture of letters. But, I thought the "correct" spelling is "sKiLZ" (with only one "L"). I'm sure the mixture of u/c and l/c is arbitrary (maybe not)! Is the number of "L"s also arbitrary!?! Please help! I'm just trying to stay "hip" but the rules have changed too many times since the 60s. :S Sorry for drifting off-topic ...NOT! (was my usage in that last sentence correct?)

I think we do a fine job all by ourselves making skydiving look bad. Such as the video in the original post, found on youtube. There is plenty out there. She just wants to give credit where credit is due.:S

I wonder if Wendy has been in the sky with diamonds since.....oh the suspense...:P:ph34r::ph34r:

I thought the exact same thing. Bet we would in fact see her again..

It was a joke...Wendy is very active in crew despite her "near death experience" :D:D:D:D

Right... I was saying the same thing as you. ;)

The narrator makes it sound like this scared her away from skydiving.

The video of a jumper doing his first AFF jump made it
to one of those shows.

He got on his back and spun. At 11,000 ft, "he is seconds from death". After a fashion, true.
Hyped for the tv audience, definitely.

I'd say it's hyped... But then again, what's 40 seconds?
