jf951 1 #1 November 17, 2010 so i have a friend who i jump with but over the past 5-6 months hes made about 2-3 jumps in 1 day (about 160 total) i started joking around that he needed to do some sort of re-currency jump and we would kinda laugh about it as its gotten further and further away since his last jump, now about 4 months since any jump at all, ive become a little more serious about him doing a re-currency jump and he just seems to be getting more annoyed were both students and hes taking some pretty hard classes and working full time so i cant blame him for being out there every weekend. but never the less its still been 6 months since he was jumping regularly and 4 months since his last jump at all. im not trying to be a dick to him, i just dont want to be the one who has to go get the splatula to dig him out of a creator. any thoughts on how i should tell him that he really needs to?Jump more, Bitch less. Don't put so much pressure on him, when he comes out to do a jump just suggest to him that he does something he has already mastered, hop-n-pop solo freefall etc. etc.Look out for the freefly team, Smelly Peppers. Southern_Man 0 #3 November 17, 2010 With only 160 jumps he can only have a B-license. I would point him to the SIM, which shows that a B-license holder should have a re-currency jump if he has not jumped for 90 days. Ultimately it is up to the drop-zone to enforce that."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
skyrider 0 #4 November 17, 2010 Maybe he wants to quit, right around that number, many do! Leave him alone, in a year you can buy his gear for cheap!

He's an adult, and he'll do it when he's ready. He doesn't need you nagging him.

On the other hand, if a friend of mine hadn't bugged me incessantly to start jumping again after I finished school and got a job (I'd gone about 8 months without a jump), I would probably never have started again.
