PD sent me a Storm to demo for a few weeks and it came in yesterday. I have always heard people talk about packing a NEW canopy. I cannot believe how slippery this SOB is

Well i just packed it for the first time....... That Sucked. Its like there's a small air pump under there filling it up with air. I thought about having a packer do it at the boogie but i kinda like doing things myself. Then i know its my fault( sloppy pack or body position) if something happens. The reverse S fold seamed to work better getting into the bag.

I have a Storm 170, I love it. The flare on it is really nice making the landings great. Let us know what you think of it, oh and I also second paying the packer, the thing is one huge pain in the ass to pack.

Here is a tip, if you pack quicker then you decrease the chance it has to fill up with air

Look out for the freefly team, Smelly Peppers. Once we get a couple years more experience we will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future! BLUES!

There was no "hate" intended. I'm still very new to packing so it is getting packed as quick as i am comfortable with. It is a 230... So quick isnt working out so well right now. I pack my rental main in about 15 min

At 51 jumps, 15 minutes is very good.
You should feel good about your packing time.
Hopefully the results of your packing are equally as rewarding!
