I cant think of a reason it would not be possible as long as you have a hang glider that can fly with a pilot plus 2 passengers with rigs.... Or a hang glider that can release a pilot and passenger with rigs who are willing to just crash land the glider.....

Let's see...
Hang gliders carry a maximum of two people,
and a Mr. Bill jump requires two people,
um, nope, that doesn't leave anyone behind to land the hang glider.

I guess you could do it if you want to abandon the hang glider and let it crash to earth on its own.

i guess i phrased that wrong. i meant doing a tandem hang glider and releasing from the hang glider as the passenger, with the pilot still flying it.

I have one jump from a tandem hang glider. I jumped. The pilot didn't.

Hey John, there was an old movie, I think came out in late 70's early eighties that had a hang glider launch from El Cap and two jumpers and a pilot. the two jumpers released together. I can't remember the name of the movie.
