jimmytavino 16 #5 February 17, 2011 i put 1,300 jumps on the same RW Challenger 240 which was the Only brand new main, i have ever bought.... It was made By New England Parachute Company in the early 1990's... ( John Eiff, Carol Christianson, Randy Thompson, out of Conn. ) i flat packed it.. and put 800 or so, pack jobs on it , packing it on the left chord.. And then flipped it over to the right chord, and and did approx. 500 more... F 111 fabric. original lineset. never had a malfunction while jumping that main... Still have it...still airworthy... When i got it, it retailed at 1,000 dollars, custom colors but they offered a 33% discount sale. so i got it for under 700 bucks... split slider... nice main... but of course , pretty large pack volume... jt
normiss 718 #6 February 17, 2011 I have a Spectre 150, bought it new in '04. She's got around 12-1300 jumps on it and is still in damn near perfect shape. One new line set so far and no patches. The slider has been worked on a bit but that's all.

Had to buy mine, but I got my sabre I at around 50 jumps, and have so far put about 250 jumps on it. I specifically like the openings. It opens when I pull, instead of sniveling for 1000 feet or more.

virgin-burner 1 #20 February 20, 2011 all you guys jumping sabre(1)'s like 2000+ times; reading through these forums, you should be dead and if not, should have like 50 times a broken back!!! i put 200 jumps on that one while it had, hell knows, probably already WAY OVER 1000 jumps on it already.. new lineset at the time. opened snappy but never hard. unlike the student-canopies i used to jump. never got ONE bruise.. sure, opens fast, but never painful or uncomfortable! i loved my sabre1. the flare, meh, not so much. i have a new safire2 now with 60 jumps on it, and it still flies great! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. champu 1 #21 February 21, 2011 About 900 on my current Velo 90. It's on its third line set and second slider. The rest of my canopies are listed in this thread from a while back. I plan to jump it until it explodes (preferably during a strength test during a reline) and then buy another one.
