Probably because I was at the extreme bottom end of the jump, breaking off at 3,500 and pulling at 2500. I KNEW where the two people on either side of me were heading and where I was heading. I also knew my Horiz separation would be good. The time spent checking overhead would get me opening at an altitude to get called out for pulling low. As you can see, the entire formation was gone when the base broke off.Russell M.
