Bushkey 0 #1 June 10, 2011 I am curious. How far do you generally drive to get to your closest DZ? My closest DZ is 250km from home, there is however no guaranties that they are operational when I get there, they weren't the last three months. This forced me to travel to other DZ's and they are all between 400 and 480km from home. Make me jealous or share in my pain

Bushkey 0 #5 June 10, 2011 A couple of years ago, I was also able to travel 30min, how I miss those days. I promised the misses that if we ever need to move it would be to a DZ or at least neighboring one. I have got some serious catching up to do.

nigel99 417 #9 June 10, 2011 4200 miles I live in the UK, but travel to the US for business which is when I get a chance to jump. So STF is my "home" dz. I don't have BPA membership so I can't jump in the UK. I suppose technically Spain is my closest DZ as Empubravia is USPA affiliated. skycamefalling 0 #16 June 10, 2011 It takes me about 10-15 minutes to get out to Lodi depending on traffic, 25-30 minutes to get out to Byron and about an hour if I want to go to either Skydive Sac or Skydance. There are others around, but I have not timed those yet.Speedracer~I predict that Michael Jackson will rise from the dead. Now that Skyride is long gone from the airport where my home DZ was before they took over, a few good friends and I still get together for some mid-week jumps out of the ol' C-182 "Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
