It's true, every jump is awaking in it's own way, but some really do stand out. It was as beautiful on the way up as it was climbing out. It was simply amazing, and I recommend everyone do it at least once.

I think the concern about hitting the tail was overstated, as the airspeed couldn't have been much more that 50 mph. I dropped pretty much straight down.

the only way i could see it happening is if you decided to launch upwards with your feet off the wing and delaying the vertical descent... someone would have to think its a diving board hehe

Actually, they are still officially grounded, but the Estonian Air Force is still able to inspect and fly them. That is why next year's Estonia Boogie is going to be such a great oportunity!

Not from a Blanik, but I do have a couple glider jumps out of the Schweizer at Rantoul '06. ...... One nekked. ;)
