Harris or Trump in November

Recommended Posts

Ford was pretty close to calling it as it went down.  I think he was trying to give a positive answer to that little girl, but 'the President will die' may not have been the uplifting message he thought it was...

Winsor has made it perfectly clear that he detests all politicians.

If Abraham Lincoln arose from the dead, and the Democrats put him on the ballot, Winsor would attack him because:

1. He led the nation into war.

2. He failed to finish his term.

"Black Lives Matter

Timeline of Events

Sunday

•Kamala Harris says she is going to work hard to earn the nomination.

Monday

•Kamala Harris releases this statement, noting she has worked hard to “go out and earn this nomination” as promised (Monday night).

"A 24-hour process of talking to party bosses is not democratic, nor is it a process Democrats should be proud of. We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs. Installing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and an unknown vice president without any public voting process would make the modern Democratic Party a party of hypocrites. We call on the @DNCto create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates."

wow, you base everything on 24 hours?  What was your opinion during the 24 hours after Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts?

No I am not talking about BLM!

Well you should be since the argument you responded to came from BLM.  Maybe you didn't know it was BLM, but it's too late, that cat's out of the bag. I mean aren't you the least bit curious as to why the BLM of all groups would actually say something like that?  Of course you aren't, you just get triggered and lash out calling the argument stupid and racist.  Now you're deflecting and blaming it on MAGA.

MAGA are the ones pushing that agenda

lmao, try explaing how BLM is now pushing a republican agenda?  Is it only racist when republicans say that the democrats are anti-democratic hypocrites, but not racist when BLM says it?  Maybe you should just leave the race baiting to the professional hustlers, you look a bit green.

I watch what Biden, Harris, Jeffreys say and their actions and for the most part they are people of integrity who talk about policy and vision.

Ya, you watch them on TV while basking in a liberal bubble bath.  Biden recently gave a commencement speech at a black college where he said that" blacks are dying in the streets, you have to work 10 times harder then everyone else and you love your country even though it doesn't love you back."  The look on some of their faces was heartbreaking, while others actually stood up with their chairs and literally turned their back to him. Bet you didn't see that one.

Then you have idiots like Sen. Kevin Parker fanning the flames on twitter/facebook bullshiting everyone about how police violence is the leading cause of death for blacks.

And then the Dems have the balls to tell conservatives to lower the temperature and be more responsible with our words - gtfoof

It's no wonder Biden was losing support from blacks.

And then there are people like you.   The U.S isn't your new Rhodesia, no matter how bad you want it to be  - that's all just more presentism and reeks of cultural bias.

The rest of your post is just pathetically patronizing and sounds desperate.  Good luck winning people over with that.

wow, black lives matter loses another supporter.  I think BLM's point there is that Harris said she was going to "work hard" for the nomination, then she comes back just 24 hours later saying she whipped up enough delegates.  (Apparently they don't think that's hard work, just in case you couldn't get that)

Okay so BLM is bullshit and Black people are lazy.  Thanks, Coreece, for dropping your truth-bombs on the SC tonight!

Real funny how MAGA cherry picks what they want to quote from places like BLM or the bible. A group challenging the process is a valid part of democracy. What is unhealthy is group think like MAGA and radical evangelicals where you blindly follow your cult leader and any dissent is swiftly punished.

I’ll be honest I pity you. Life must be difficult and sad when filled with hatred and bitterness. I don’t care about liberal or conservative, I value authenticity and integrity. As I said in my previous post, the right desperately needs people of conviction and with backbone. In a healthy society there is respectful debate and challenging ideas and views. When the right is a complete vacuum, you do get the left moving away from the middle.

so she thought she would have to work to get nominated, then it turns out she didn't and somehow that is a character flaw or somehow a weakness.

Good fucking grief, that is a pretty absurd desperate kinda tragedy scandal you are trying to whip up.  You should consider a position on Fox News....

No comment on how little trump had to do to get nominated?  oh that's right, he never said he was going to work hard (at anything)

I found it interesting how hard Coreece is trying to find to twist recent events to support his views.  When challenged, he reverts to "well what I meant was that democrats are bad; didn't you get that?  And YOU'RE the one who's desperate."

JD Vance is going through something similar.  A while back he made a comment about "childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives" to attack Harris.

When challenged he said the same sort of thing.  "It’s not a criticism of people who don’t have children. I explicitly said in my remarks ... this is not about criticizing people who for various reasons don’t have kids. This is about criticizing the Democratic Party for becoming anti-family and anti-child.”

So don't listen to his words.  Listen to what he MEANT.  And what he means in every single thing he says is "democrats bad."

It doesn't look like BLM commented on Trump work ethic, just Kamala's.

So why do you think they are making such a big fuss about this.  Is it really about the dems being anti-democratic hypocrites as they say?  Do they not like Harris for some reason?  Would they rather have Obama?  Is it about Gaza?  Maybe their donors have a problem with it?  Maybe they just feel neglected by the dems since the last election and want some attention?

They're not.  The only one making a big fuss over this is you.

Yep, nothing to see here:

"While Joe Biden wasn’t our preferred candidate, we cannot ignore the troubling actions of the Democratic Party:

  • The DNC refused to host debates during the primary, even though a vast majority of Democratic voters wanted them. This would have likely allowed America to see the decline of Joe Biden in 2023.
  • The DNC changed the primary schedule and created rules that made it almost impossible for non-Biden candidates to appear on the ballot, effectively clearing the field of any challengers to the incumbent president.
  • Following the primary where millions of Black voters weighed in, after one poor debate performance, the DNC Party elites and billionaire donors bullied Joe Biden out of the race.

Now, Democratic Party elites and billionaire donors are attempting to manipulate Black voters by anointing Kamala Harris and an unknown vice president as the new Democratic ticket without a primary vote by the public. This blatant disregard for democratic principles is unacceptable. While the potential outcome of a Harris presidency may be historic, the process to achieve it must align with true democratic values. We have no idea where Kamala Harris stands on the issues, now that she has assumed Joe Biden’s place, and we have no idea of the record of her potential vice president because we don’t even know who it is yet.

At Black Lives Matter, our focus is on building strong communities, addressing root issues, and creating spaces of justice and joy. This election process has been a disservice to our communities and to democracy. Historically, Black people have been loyal Democratic voters, but time and again, the party has taken our votes for granted and prioritized political theatrics over our real needs."

MAGA’s outlook is ‘There are very fine people on both sides’ provided their words can be twisted to fit our agenda. I’ve been slow to really understand that MAGA is a genuine cult and not simply cult like.

You can’t reason with cult members, it just drives them deeper in. The only thing to do is to ignore them and push forward with the future. Cult leaders die and the cult usually falls apart, we just have to let it run its course. You can feel pity for them and show them compassion, but there is no positive from engaging only negative.

Given your public confession of being a troll, I'm sure you're desperate enough to say anything.

I'm not desperate enough to keep trying to twist nigel99's words as anti-BLM when he's directly refuting YOU.  You got nothing.

You're so desperate to divide the left-leaning here against BLM, because that's what Jesus taught, right? You're such a sad, angry evangelist.

No, what's creepy is you always arguing in bad faith.

Here you are pretending to support BLM, but we know that you don't.

I've come to expect evangelicals to be dishonest liars, but it's still unbelievable how openly dishonest they can be - I mean, don't they realise what they post here is recorded?

Blah blah. . .

How do you rationalize your support for a convicted felon, proven fraud, pathological liar, self confessed sexual predator and adulterer, who stole from his own foundation, a six time banktrupt who screwed his investors, and who called US military killed or injured in the service of their country "losers" and "suckers"?

Coreece, I don’t know if you see “the right” as a single entity, marching in lockstep, but “the left” for damn sure isn’t. We’re not the party of “all or nothing,” and there are definitely divisions and factions. That doesn’t make us hypocrites, it makes us willing to compromise. Sometimes people aren’t happy with the results of compromise, and keep talking. It’s not like they’ve been muzzled.

I have a feeling a decent number of strongly pro-life evangelicals will vote for Trump anyway. Does that make them hypocrites?
