In my experience, you’ve never shied away from explaining things here in the past.

in my experience, you've been confusing him with someone else. Either that, or you have seen some very long posts and just assumed they contain a proportional amount of information.

No. He has always just proclaimed that Harris is more evil than Trump and never explained why, in the exact same way he just proclaimed that Clinton was evil than Trump and never explained why. Just like how he's constantly proclaimed that CRT is evil and Marxist but never explained why, and how he'll happily proclaim that affirmative action is the most damaging form of racism in the US but would never explain why.

You ask him about the basis of any of his bold statements on any issue and you're absolutely going to get a long digression about how he once visited Venezuala and just check out their economy. What you're not going to get is an explanation.

Sometimes it’s not that people are unwilling, but rather they are unable to articulate. This can be especially true of people who go by instinct. A really good 30 second test is the question of if a bat and ball cost $1.10 and the bat costs a $1 more than the ball how much does the ball cost?

Critical thinking is unrelated to IQ, I’ve worked with engineers who were Mensa members and hopeless and have a professor friend who is also incapable of it.

Unfortunately you can’t argue logic with emotionally driven people as they speak a different language and both sides get frustrated. The key to communicating effectively is finding language that they can connect with - I don’t know how to though…

Oh yes, please tell Windsor that his problem is a lack of ability to articulate his thoughts! Way to hit a guy where it hurts : DDD

Cut it out guys or there will be a fresh round of bans on Winsor's account. Soon his only place to display his superior intellect will be the Mensa prospects forums.

This is why the ignore function is useful.

Horse hockey definition

I was never really much for studying some things Jerry. ;)

Through high school anyway, after that I had to put forth a LOT more effort.

Hi Mark,

From your link:  (slang, euphemistic) False or deceitful statements; lies; exaggerations; nonsense; horse pucky. (a euphemism for horseshit).

I guess I spelled it wrong.

Republicans are now acknowledging that Trump can't win, and are fantasizing about a world without him.

Politico: "In fact, asking around with Republicans last week, the most fervent private debate I came across in the party was how best to accelerate Trump’s exit to the 19th Hole."

Ben Sasse: "Character matters. @realDonaldTrump is obviously not going to win. But he can still make an honorable move: Step aside & let Mike Pence try."

Politico again: "One high-level Republican, conceding it may only be “wishful thinking,” floated the idea of a Harris victory followed by Biden pardons of both his son, Hunter, and Trump."

Hi Jerry,

I would have spelled it "Puckey" too.

Growing up in the 70s, the TV show MASH was huge.

When Harry Morgan showed up for the 4th season as commanding officer Colonel Potter, he was presented as a career officer, who had been an old horse cavalry soldier.

He brought with him (roughly) a bazillion euphemisms for 'large animal excrement'.

Both 'Horse Hockey' and "Horse Puckey" were among them.

I guess he'll have it hanging over him until after the election.

Sentencing date November 26.

I sure hope he gets to see the inside of a jail cell.

The way it’s going you might before he does. With Trump and his comeuppance it’s one disappointment after another.

Maybe our trolls are Russian dupes too:

Josh Hawley (the famous track star of the Jan 6th attack) has an explanation for the sanctions against the pro-Trump Russian media attack.  It's not pro-Trump, you see, it's pro-Harris.  And there are no sanctions.  And it's not foreign, it's domestic.  It's not Russia - it's really the "deep state."  And the FBI.  And the democrats.

Good to see him defending Putin.

"This is the third straight presidential election that they've tried this.  Nobody believes this stuff. This isn't about foreign interference by Russia. This is a smokescreen for domestic interference by our deep state and the Democrat Party. This is the same play that they've run for years. In 2016, the FBI used this playbook in order to interfere in our election that year.”

Might just be that north of 200 million democracy breaks down. Imagine trying to govern 1.3 billion with a system that elects the likes of Josh Hawley.

Very disappointing, but he’s proven to be a balanced and good judge. Hopefully he punishes Trump appropriately.

Looks like Trump's realised there's only one way he's seeing the inside of the White House fence again...

I'm guessing the campaign has standing orders that their pilots can only turn to the right.

Well that pilot is screwed.  I give it two days before Trump blames him and then throws him under the bus.

He'll get some talking to from an ATC supervisor who may or may not file a pilot deviation report with the FAA. You'll never hear about this again.
